Alina Thompson

ARTIST MARKETING & INDUSTRY RELATIONS MANAGER, PANDORA

Alina Thompson is a graduate of Belmont University in Nashville, TN. During college, Alina worked in radio marketing/promotions at Max Media Group. Upon graduation, Alina joined the Music Strategy team at CMT where she assisted with music research and programming of the channel. From there, she went to CMA’s Marketing team, where she steadily rose from Marketing Coordinator to Manager of Marketing & Media. During her 4 years at CMA, Alina managed full scale marketing campaigns including radio, TV, print and digital elements for all of CMA’s major events (CMA Awards, CMA Fest, etc.). She left CMA for Pandora to become the streaming service’s Manager of Artist Marketing & Industry Relations. In her current role, she assists artists and their teams with strategies and best practices in utilizing Pandora’s free marketing tools, helps get their music on-platform, constructs various marketing campaigns around new music releases, and pairs artists with brands for special events/initiatives.
