Mary Catherine Kinney joined the Artist & Label Marketing team at Spotify in 2018, serving as a primary point for Nashville-based artists, labels and managers and leading global music & cultural marketing campaigns for UMG and Sony artists. Since joining Spotify, Mary Catherine has executed marketing initiatives for artists including Taylor Swift, NF & George Strait and launched the second installment of Spotify's flagship live country experience, Hot Country Live. Prior to joining Spotify, Mary Catherine spent 8 years leading media and marketing strategy for country artists in Nashville. Kinney led media campaigns at Sony Music Nashville for artists including Luke Combs, Maren Morris, LANCO, Tenille Townes and Miranda Lambert. She began her music career at Universal Music Group in marketing launching Sam Hunt, Jon Pardi and Brothers Osborne and working alongside artists including Chris Stapleton, Kacey Musgraves, Luke Bryan and more.
