COPELAND ISAACSON

Originally from Santa Barbara, CA; Copeland Isaacson was Spotify's first executive on the ground in Nashville. He previously worked on the digital teams at Music Row record labels Sony Nashville and UMG Nashville before he took on the unique task of pitching the free platform to a music industry that wasn't completely sold on ad-supported streaming. While at Spotify, Copeland helped identify and exclusively release debut music from Sam Hunt and Maren Morris when those future stars were ready to launch, long before they were gaining traction on terrestrial radio or had a record deal. In 2018 he joined Google on the Artist Relations team for YouTube Music in Nashville. His role at YouTube is similar to his tenure at Spotify, working to identify artists and songs ready to be featured online and raising visibility for Country Music on YT’s global platform. While at YouTube, he’s landed original content, exclusives, and world premieres from the likes of Taylor Swift, Maren Morris, Sam Hunt, Kelsea Ballerini, Luke Combs, Thomas Rhett, and many more.
